The concept for Neptune Global Holdings LLC was formed in 1997 when my own research led me to conclude that the debt based, consumption driven, economic model was nearing its limits. Realizing that powerful new trends would begin to manifest themselves within a few years, a quest to identify which asset classes would perform best going forward was now under way.
Long neglected as a portfolio component in conventional investment strategies, physical precious metals were identified as possessing the unique attributes needed to thrive and endure through the economic transformation soon to unfold. With gold priced under $300 an ounce, and silver being had for less than $5 an ounce, my trading in precious metals commenced in 2001.
Today, Neptune Global is a full service precious metals research and trading firm. Our guiding philosophy is to approach the macroeconomic and geopolitical situation at hand as realists. While hoping for the best economic future, the lessons taught by history tell us to discard conventional thinking and prepare for change. At this juncture, physical precious metals investing is one key component of financial preparation, in our opinion.
